Weekly Summary & Call for Lantern Parade Photos

Happy Friday, everyone! I just want to start off by saying thank you so much to the many families who showed their GLOBE spirit by attending the BeltLine Lantern Parade over the weekend. The turnout was amazing, and it felt great to see so many people participate in this community-wide event. I would love to see more pictures and feature them here on the blog, so please send them to me via email!

This week in art class, students became acquainted with the new art studio by completing a scavenger hunt in teams. The students now know how to navigate the art studio, and we also had a chance to discuss their experiences of working as a team and the factors that contributed to a group's success in working together. 

The students also finished their visual-verbal sketchbooks, which we will refer to often this year as students plan and reflect on their projects. 

Next week, we will begin new projects in each grade. Stay tuned!
