Hello, 3rd Grade Parents!
Your artist-activists have been working diligently on their posters this week, and the results so far have been incredible! It has been such a gift to talk with your students about these important issues and see them use their passions to create such meaningful work.
I have confirmed with The Guerrilla Girls that we will be doing our Skype session on Thursday, December 12 at 11AM. The Q&A Session will last about 15 minutes, so hopefully we will be able to ask quite a few questions!
In order to be on schedule with our yarn-bombing lessons and the Guerrila Girls talk next week, I am going to ask that students who have not completed their posters to finish them at home and bring them to next week's art class. I have acquired some mat board from framing shops; the students should take their mat boards home and bring in a completed poster to next week's class. Below please find the students' class schedules:

Friday - Price
The completed and well-crafted poster design will include 1 fact about the issue (the more specific the better!), 1 potential solution, and 1 image/symbol that can help to convey the student's message.
